While the development was anticipated for quite some time, ABC network has finally dropped the bomb on Saturday by cancelling Priyanka Chopra-starrer television show 'Quantico'. The American thriller is one of the many shows which have been discontinued by the network.

Entertainment Weekly has confirmed that the Indian actress won't be returning after the ongoing third season as Alex Parrish. Despite Michael Seitzman taking over as the showrunner this year, the FBI drama was averaging 2.4 million viewers and a 0.5 in the 18-49 demographic.

Notably, along with Priyanka's Quantico, ABC also stalled Kiefer Sutherland-starring 'Designated Survivor', the current season of which is averaging 8.1 million viewers and a 1.6 in the 18-49 demographic. The American drama also features actor Kal Penn of Indian origin.

After reading the news about his show's cancellation, the actor showed interest in working with Priyanka Chopra and asked her to do a film with him through Twitter. He wrote, "Hey Priyanka Chopra, Let's do a movie," and the actress was quick to answer with, "Done n done."

Seems like the desi girl is not done with her Hollywood dream yet. Nonetheless, Priyanka might not have commented on the news of Quantico cancellation but her cool answer represented that she was pretty much aware of the development beforehand and is taking it rather calmly.

On the work front, Priyanka Chopra has two indie projects– A Kid Like Jake and Isn’t It Romantic? in her kitty. After a Hiatus of three years, the actress is all ready to return to Bollywood with Salman Khan-starrer Bharat, helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar.
