It’s truly acche din for actors Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starring in the upcoming film ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’. The movie, which deals with a sensitive topic has been cleared by the Central Board Of Film Certification(CBFC) without any cuts and has been granted a U/A certificate.
The sources say that, the filmmakers had actually expected to get an ‘A’ certification but were surprised when the CBFC led by new Chief Prasoon Joshi passed it without ordering a single cut.
‘Vicky Donor’ actor Ayushmann Khurrana commented on this, saying, “I am so glad we got this all-clear from the CBFC. This just shows that the CBFC is progressive and supports the content of our film, which deals with performance-anxiety among men. When audiences see ‘Shubh Mangal Saavdhan’ they’ll realise it’s a very important film.”
