Unlike what is expected from a star kid's launch, Sara Ali Khan's way to stardom seems to be full of thorns and spikes. Saif Ali Khan's darling daughter is said to harbour astounding acting skills with big dreams of carving a niche for herself in Bollywood, a dream which is getting harder to accomplish.

Having just stepped into showbiz, the young starlet wasn't expecting to receive a legal notice from the makers of her debut film 'Kedarnath' but as per the saying goes, anything and everything is possible in the business world and same is applicable to Sara, who might get into a legal battle soon.

However, as soon as the matter appeared to be getting out of hand, Saif Ali Khan made a royal entry for rescuing his princess from the mess. The actor had accompanied his daughter to 'Kedarnath' director Abhishek Kapoor's office in Mumbai's Khar on Wednesday and resolved the matter.

"Abhishek explained his predicament to Saif and requested him to help him sort out the date hassle," a source told a leading daily. The situation was, without doubt, an uncalled for one and "Saif has been requested to help clear this stalemate amicably," added the source.

For the uninitiated, when Kedarnath got stuck due to the tussle between Abhishek and KriArj Entertainment, Sara signed Rohit Shetty's forthcoming film 'Simmba', also starring Ranveer Singh. Nonetheless, the matter between Kedarnath makers was resolved and the film was back on track.

Now the problem, the actress had to shoot for Kedarnath through May till July 5 but her agent allotted her dates in June for Simmba. Irked by the situation, the makers approached the High Court seeking orders to direct Sara to complete her first commitment first and demanded ₹ 5 crores as damages.

Following Saif's involvement, the matters are expected to come under control and both of Sara's films to release without hassle. Kedarnath, also starring Sushant Singh Rajput is scheduled to release on November 30 whereas Simmba is slated for release on December 28.

Earlier, Saif had admitted about his involvement in getting Sara on board for Simmba. "I’m very happy that she now has a good film with Karan Johar. I was quite involved with her getting on board with Karan but after that, I can afford again to take a backseat. I’m here if she needs me," he said.
