Known for playing influential characters on-screen while showcasing his acting prowess, Nawazuddin Siddiqui is currently making headlines for all the wrong reasons. The actor who became an inspiration for many with his struggles and dedication recently collaborated with Rituparna Chatterjee to write his biography.

Few excerpts from the book 'An Ordinary Life' broke the internet a few days back which gave an insight of Nawaz's love-life. Among his many affairs as elaborated in the book, his 'Miss Lovely' co-star Niharika Singh and his 'one true love' and television actress, Sunita Rajwar earlier slammed him for fabricating stories and manipulating facts about their relationship.

Recently, a complaint was filed against the actor in the National Commission for Women (NCW) for "outraging the modesty of his Miss Lovely co-star" by a Delhi-based advocate. Following the complaint, Nawazuddin has decided to withdraw his book and apologised for hurting people's sentiments through his book.

The 43-year-old actor took his decision to Twitter and wrote, "I m apologising 2 every1 who's sentiments r hurt bcz of d chaos around my memoir #AnOrdinaryLife I hereby regret & decide 2 withdraw my book"

Apparently, Nawaz and his closed ones were very excited for the book's launch, which now is a far-fetched thought. Given that two important characters in his biography already rubbished the facts as presented by the actor, the decision has most likely come as a reaction to all the hate he has received in the past few days from the people who were once important in his life.

The advocate Gautam Gulati has earlier told a leading daily, "I don't know Niharika Singh personally nor have I spoken to her. I have lodged a complaint with NCW with a request to give direction for the registration of FIR under sections 376 (rape), 497 (adultery) and 509 (insulting the modesty of a woman) of IPC. He was evidently married when he was having an affair with Niharika and kept her in the dark about it."

Nawaz is married to Anjali Siddiqui who is reportedly his second wife. The couple shares two children together- a son and a daughter. Siddiqui family stays away from the limelight and likes to spend time in the confines of their home rather than partying to celebrate like most stars do.
