After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar reunite for 'Toofan', a heartfelt story of a boxer. It will be a sports drama project. It will go on floors by the end of this year.

It has been Written by Anjum Rajabali and Produced by Excel Entertainment.

Farhan Akhtar, who played an Olympian athlete Milkha Singh in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra-directed sports biographical drama Bhaag Milkha Bhaag in 2013, gained a lot of appreciation for his acting.

The duo is again all set to break the fire as earlier they did, Farhan and Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra changed the phase of sports biopics in Indian cinema with their patriotic and heart-warming journey of athlete Milkha Singh in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

The two are now all set to reunite for another sports film but this time it will be about boxing.

A source informed that the film is not going to be a biopic but a fictional story, which has been scripted by Anjum Rajabali. Further, the source said that Farhan would be training extensively in boxing for the project, which is set to go on floors sometime this year.
