After Captain Marvel, the world-renowned producer of Superheroes is working on the first ever Muslim hero with a female lead, Miss Marvel. In no mood to confirm the news yet, the Marvel Studio President Kevin Feige hinted the project is underway.

"Miss Marvel, which is another character in the comic books, the Muslim hero who is inspired by Captain Marvel, definitely sorts of in the works," he said, adding, "We have plans for that once we’ve introduced Captain Marvel to the world."

Introduced in 2013, Miss Marvel is a shape-shifting superhero with special healing powers, whose alter-ego is a young Muslim woman named Kamala Khan. The project will reportedly be considered after the release of Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel and untitled Avengers 4 in 2019.

While nothing about the casting can be said right now, fans are surely rooting for Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra to play the much-loved Miss Marvel in the film as she voices the character in the mobile video game Marvel: Avengers Academy.

However, others disagreed with the idea and suggested that a Pakistan-American actor should play the character instead of Chopra, who is neither a Pakistani nor a teen. Nonetheless, the Marvel fans rejoiced that the film will inspire many young girls of Muslim origin.

Muslims all around the world are elated with the news about Khan becoming a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Miss Marvel, a teenage-superhero from New Jersey has her own solo series, which is quite popular among the masses.
