Deepika Padukone unveiled her magnificent wax statue in London at the famous Madame Tussauds museum on Thursday and husband Ranveer Singh couldn’t keep his calm.

DeePee's wax statue is straight out of the cape lehenga that she donned for IIFA Awards in 2016. Champagne coloured Sabyasachi Mukherjee creation, with a thin diamond and emerald necklace, Deepika's wax statue is just as stunning as her.

Deepika made a quiet entry in the museum as fans were clicking pictures with her statue and left them stumped as they couldn’t believe that the actress was standing in flesh beside them.

She went live on her Instagram and gave her fans a sneak peek of what the statue looks like. The unveiling was attended by Padukone’s parents as well as Ranveer Singh’s parents. During the Instagram live, Ranveer was heard playfully asking if he could take the statue home with him.

Impressed with the wax statue of herself, Padukone was beaming. So was her husband Ranveer Singh who also took a moment to thank the team behind the statue.

Announcing her wax statue last year, Deepika had said in a video, “It’s fun, exciting and in a way, I feel a lot of gratitude because you know when you give your fans a little more than just the movies, then it’s really, really special. I hope they enjoy it as much as we enjoy creating it.”
