India's censor board is notorious for its moral policing and the cuts they 'suggest' before allowing a movie to be cleared for screening. This time, Nawazuddin Siddiqui starrer 'Babumoshai Bandookbaaz' has come under the censor board scanner as it has suggested a massive number of 48 cuts before the movie would be certified.

In the movie Babumoshai Bandookbaaz, Nawazuddin plays the role of a sharpshooter, and according to reports, the actor took lessons in sharpshooting so as to fit the character with ease. Babumoshai Bandookbaaz also stars Bengali actress Bidita Bag and is directed by Kushan Nandy.

Babumoshai Bandookbaaz has faced other troubles as well since Bollywood dusky beauty Chitrangada Singh walked out of the film, accusing the director of using 'unparliamentary language' while directing her in 'intimate scenes'.

The teaser and first song release of Babumoshai Bandookbaaz have generated plenty of praise already as the chemistry between Nawaz and Bidita Bag is electric. The movie had been scheduled to release on August 25, but depending on certification from the censor board, the movie might be delayed in hitting the big screen.

The recently released film 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' also faced major trouble with the censor board which initially ruled out releasing the movie altogether.
