The prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2018 is set to take place later this month and a string of Bollywood celebrities are bucking up to mark their presence at the event. Apart from Tinsel Town beauties, Pak Diva Mahira Khan will also walk the red carpet at the French Riviera.

Confirming the reports about her Cannes debut, Mahira posted of Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger from the 1977 Cannes Film Festival when he presented the documentary 'Pumping Iron' and wrote, "Let's do this! #Cannes2018".

Mahira will be representing the makeup giant L’Oreal as the first ever Pakistani brand ambassador along with Julianne Moore, Jane Fonda, Eva Longoria as well as Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone, Aishwarya Rai and Sonam Kapoor.

The festival will take place from May 8, 2018, to May 19, 2018, where two of Bollywood divas Kangana Ranaut and Divya Dutta will be making their Cannes debut. While Aishwarya and Sonam are Cannes regular, Deepika has also visited French Riviera for the festival before.

'Queen' Kangana will be representing a liquor brand at the International film festival whereas Divya will walk the red carpet for her film 'Manto' helmed by Nandita Das, which is a biopic on Urdu writer Saadat Hasan Manto and has been selected for the Un Certain Regard competition section.

Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut with Rahul Dholakia's Raees in 2017 alongside Shah Rukh Khan but wasn't able to promote the film in India due to ban on Pakistani artists. She recently made headlines for being spotted with Ranbir Kapoor outside a hotel in New York.
