The death of Bollywood's first and possibly last female superstar Sridevi at the comparatively young age of 54, came as a shock to the nation, especially to her family and producer husband Boney Kapoor.

According to reports, Boney Kapoor is likely to make a documentary on the life of his late wife, the iconic Sridevi, with the project being directed by 'Mr India' director Shekhar Kapoor. The documentary would also feature rare photos of the legendary actress and be a ”one-stop visual legacy” based on her life and films, reported Asian Age.

The documentary would feature people who had been pillars for Sridevi during her life, and clear the air around the death of her as well. Boney, who was in the next room when Sridevi died and was the one to discover her death, was reportedly very disturbed by 'untruths' being spread about the death of his wife.

Sridevi's sudden death on February 24 in Dubai was surrounded by controversy due to conflicting reports on the cause of death, ranging from cardiac arrest to heart attack, before it was finally confirmed as an accidental drowning.

Although initial reports suggested that filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, a big fan of Sridevi, would make a biopic on her life, however, he himself clarified on Twitter that there is no biopic, as there is no actress 'worthy' enough to essay her role.

RGV tweeted, “Sections of media reporting I am making a biopic on Sridevi is untrue... I believe it’s foolish to attempt also because there cannot be any actress who’s remotely worthy enough to play her.”
