Amitabh Bachchan Lends Helping Hand For Social Development By Distributing Hearing Aids

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan never fails in amazing her fans with the kind heart he possesses. The 75-year-old has always been super-active for lending helping hand to the society and god's unprivileged children. In the recent kind gesture, Big B reached to take part in his long-time friend Anand Pandit’s special charity event on Sunday.

He took part in the latter's social initiative and distributed hearing aid kids to the hearing impaired people present at the event. The charity function was organised by the Yuvak Pratishthan Trust (YPT) and aimed at helping those who couldn't afford proper treatment for their hearing impediments.

Under the initiative by Pandit and BJP MP Kirit Somaiya, 10,000 hearing kits will be distributed throughout the nation. While 1000 such kits have already been distributed in the past 3 months, Anand Pandit urged his good friend Amitabh Bachchan to distribute a few kits with his hands on Sunday.

Amitabh, who has been associated with various such initiatives before was left emotional with the gesture. Expressing his surprise and gratitude towards Anand for inviting him, he said, "It is wonderful to see the good work that Anand Bhai has done and it is extremely humbling for me to know that he draws inspiration from me."

He added, "In fact, I draw inspiration from him as well as all these people here who fight problems and challenges every single day of their lives." Sarkar 3 producer was also not much behind his friend and said, "It is an honour to have Amitabh ji here to meet the people who are benefitting because of his inspiring personality."

He added, "I have always believed in social causes but the inspiration behind that has been Mr Amitabh Bachchan, the legend. There are very few people like Amitabh Ji who inspire you to do well. Also, I’d like to thank Mr Kirit Somaiya and his trust Yuvak Pratisthan for their support and for facilitating the process of getting these kits to those who need them."
