Police Complaint Filed Against Sunny Leone for Promoting Pornography

 A police complaint Against Sunny Leone was filed in Chennai on Saturday. A social activist Emi alias Enoch Moses submitted a representation to the Commissioner of Police to arrest actor Sunny Leone as she is promoting pornography, which is an offence as per the country's law.

In the petition, Moses has reportedly accused the actor of promoting pornography which is against the country's law. Since Sunny was to perform at an event in Chennai, he also reportedly stated in his petition that this will spoil the culture of the country.

The actor was scheduled to visit the city on Saturday for participating in a dance programme on the outskirts of the city.

In December last year, a similar incident occurred, when her scheduled visit to Bengaluru also courted a major controversy. The pro-Kannada groups held a series of protests demanding to ban Sunny from taking part in an event planned on New Year’s Eve. They alleged that her visit to the city posed a threat to the Kannada culture. Giving in to the demands of the pro-Kannada activists, the performance was eventually cancelled.

Currently, Sunny is shooting for her upcoming first full-length Tamil film 'Veeramadevi' a period film. The film is releasing in Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi languages.
