Bihar Board BSEB Class 12 Compartmental Result 2017 Declared: View Marks Now

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has declared the results for the compartmental exams for Intermediate or Class 12th arts, science, commerce and vocational streams on its official website.

The main exam results announced for the Bihar Class 12 on May 30, 2017, had revealed that only 35 percent of the students across the various streams had passed their exams and a shocking 64 percent had failed their exams and would be required to appear for the compartmental exams.

From the total 12,40,168 students who appeared in the Class 12 exams in Science, Commerce and Arts stream, 7,94,622 students failed to clear the examination in their first try.

In the Science stream the pass percentage this year was 30.11 percent, a drastic drop from 2016 where the pass percentage was 67.06 percent. Similarly, in Arts stream, the pass percentage in 2017 was 37.13 percent, compared to 56 percent last year. The highest pass percentage this year was witnessed in Commerce stream, with 73.76 percent of student passing their exams in the first try, however, still a decrease from the pass percentage of 80.87 percent marked in 2016.

Following the much publicised 'toppers scam' that wrecked the Bihar results last year, the authorities reportedly became stricter on the students, which has influenced the drastic fall in pass percentages.

1)Visit the official website of Bihar board http://www.biharboard.ac.in/

2)Click on the link for ‘Results’ at the bottom of the page

3)Click on the link for arts/science/commerce or vocational compartmental result as required

4) Enter roll code and roll number or name

5) Click on find result

6) Result will be displayed on the screen

7) Download and take a printout of the results for future reference
