While the entire Indian cricket squad has reached South Africa with their respective families for the upcoming series starting January 5, 2018, Shikhar Dhawan's family is stuck at the Dubai Airport due to issues in paperwork.

Apparently, the Indian opener's wife Ayesha and children were not allowed to board the flight from Dubai to South Africa without submitting the kids' birth certificate which was not available to them when asked.

The development has left Dhawan upset and fuming, who asked the respective Airline to be more professional while dealing with the passengers. He complains that no such provision was mentioned when they boarded the flight from Mumbai.

Shikhar vented his frustration out in a series of tweets and started, "Absolutely unprofessional from @emirates. Was on my way 2 SA with my fam & was told tht my wife and kids can't board the flight from Dubai to SA. Was asked to produce birth certificates & other documents fr my kids at the airport which we obviously didn't have at that moment."

The cricketer further added, "They are now at Dubai airport waiting for the documents to arrive. Why didn't @emirates notify about such a situation when we were boarding the plane from Mumbai? One of the emirates' employee was being rude for no reason at all."

The same airline had a situation with the former England batsman Kevin Pietersen earlier in the day as well. The English man expressed his displeasure in the service through an angry tweet and questioned Emirates of how he was supposed to work without his luggage.

Team India is all ready to lock horns with South Africa under the leadership of Virat Kohli in the 56-day long tour comprising 3 tests, 6 ODIs and 3 T20 Internationals.
