Abolishing doubts about themselves, team India have put themselves in the pole position to be the first team to seal final berth.

After suffering a tame performance against Sri Lanka in the first T20I between the two team, the Rohit Sharma led side vindicated their mistakes by displaying a comprehensive performance against them in the last match. Earlier, they made their intent and seriousness about their ambitions to win the trophy known in a domination of Bangladesh. Unless Bangladesh can conjure a miracle or manifest a performance of a lifetime, the chances of stalling India’s momentum seem futile.

However, Bangladesh also bounced back from their shallow performance against India, by chasing a mammoth total of 215. The team once again exhibited their abilities to beat world-class oppositions when the time calls and if they’re in the right frame of mind.

Unfortunately for them, they’re yet to win a T20 match against India, but it won’t be an unprecedented achievement for Bangladesh to one-up the cricketing giants.

One puzzle India needs to solve is the haphazard form of their stand-in captain Rohit Sharma and his legitimacy in the team given the roster the side possesses. It will be intriguing to see if the management shuffles the pack to experiment.
