India vs Sri Lanka: This Is How Indian Players Celebrated First Test Victory

Cricketer Rohit Sharma might not have played in the first match of the three-match India vs Sri Lanka test series but as the India team crushed their opponents by 304 runs with a day to spare in the Galle test, he joined the team in celebrating.

Sharing a picture on twitter, Sharma, who was included in the India squad, revealed how the team celebrated, by playing video games, specifically FIFA.

Sharma tweeted: ‘Victory tastes as good when we play FIFA’ along with a selfie which shows in the background Shikhar Dhawan, Cheteshwar Pujara, Wriddhiman Saha and two others.

The centuries scored by Dhawan and Pujara played a major role in India's massive first-innings score, helping them to win the game. Dhawan was included in the squad after Murali Vijay was injured, and smashed a career-best of 190 during his Test comeback, becoming only the third batsman to score 100 runs in a single session on two occasions, after Sir Don Bradman and Virender Sehwag.

On the occasion of their massive win, several players and many many cricket fans also wished team India. Former players including Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and Mohammad Kaif congratulated the team via social media. Rohit Sharma had congratulated the team on Saturday as well after their victory.

The second test match is from August 3 at Colombo against Sri Lanka.
