The Indian cricket team's captain, Virat Kohli has many feathers added to his cap already but the latest one beats them all. Despite losing the match to New Zealand by 6 wickets, Virat's fans are delighted with his performance marking the 200th ODI of his career.

Apart from adding another century to his long list of achievements, Captain Kohli also became the fastest 1000 runs scorer in ODIs against the New Zealand team beating the former Australian player Dean Jones in the record.

His achievement somewhat covered the wound which was created when the team lost the first match against New Zealand in the series, that too when the latter just returned from an off-season on their home ground, nonetheless.

Though instead of praising the skipper like everybody else, Dean Jones seemed a little riled up about getting surpassed by a young lad. Even his praising tweet for Kohli felt cryptic which didn't sit well with Virat's thousands of die-hard fan.

Irked by the former player's sly comment, Kohli fans taught him why one should never cross their paths. Following his tweet, Jones was trolled mercilessly on Twitter. Check out the tweets here:

While Dean took 19 innings against New Zealand to score 1000 runs in ODIs, Virat reached the mark in 17 innings. Afterall, his fans don't call him Indian run-machine for no reason. India is currently hosting a 6 match series against New Zealand with 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is.

The second ODI takes place in Pune on Wednesday and the third will be played in Kanpur on October 29 following which both teams will lock horns in the T20 format.
