BCCI announced cash awards after the huge victory of India in Test series against Australia today. BCCI announced cash award of Rs 50 lakhs for each member of Indian Cricket team, Rs 25 lakhs for head coach and Rs 15 lakhs for support staff. Ravindra Jadeja was named Man of the Match and Man of the Series. Chasing 106 for a win, India finished at 107 for two, losing the wickets of Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara. Opener KL Rahul (52 not out) and stand-in skipper Ajinkya Rahane (38 not out) remained unbeaten to take India home.
