Uber Launches UberEats Services In Bengaluru, Partners Over 300 Restaurants

Uber Technologies Inc. which has started its food delivery service, UberEATS in May with Mumbai has now launched its operations in Bengaluru. The application started UberEats services in Karnataka's capital from 4pm on August 18.

The newly launched application has partnered over 300 restaurants from the tech-hub and allows the customers to order food from nearly all the major restaurants in the city.

Vartika Bansal, who joined the Uber team in May this year has been appointed UberEats General Manager for Bengaluru.

UberEats is a completely separate application from the Uber App and can be downloaded on both iOS and Android platforms. Apart from the mobile application, customers can also place their orders through UberEats' official website

Other than the on-demand food delivery, UberEats also allow users to schedule a delivery up to one week in advance. The app also allows the users to view food photos and look for favourite cuisines based on their previous orders.

The app also delivers food at hospitals, parks and office buildings.
