State Bank of India (SBI), the country's largest lender, has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates to fill up the posts of 2,000 Probationary Officers (PO).
According to the notification issued by SBI, aspiring candidates has to go through an on-line test followed by group discussion and interview.
SBI said in a statement said that the selected candidates will have to work in banks major services like personal banking, rural banking, credit, forex and treasury departments.
The last date for the application is May 2. All candidates are required to apply on-line bank's website along with an application fee of Rs 600.
However the fee for reserved category candidates has been fixed as Rs 100 only.
The Bank in its statement added that the starting salary of the selected candidates would be Rs 8,56,392 per annum.
The eligibility criteria for the candidates will be - graduate degree and be between 21-30 years of age. A maximum of four attempts are permissible for general category candidates.
Commencement of on-line registration of applications: April 13

Online fee payment: April 13 to May 2
Preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in June 2015
