Purchasing From Amazon Gets Cheaper With State Bank Of India's Cashback Offer

In collaboration with Amazon, State Bank of India is planning to reduce the online buyers' regular expenses by 10 percent as the state-owned bank is offering a cashback on the purchase of electrical alliances from the e-commerce giant.

Under Amazon's summer carnival valid till April 10, 2018, users using State Bank of India's debit or credit card to purchase appliances from Amazon's website, mobile app and the mobile site can avail the offer with certain terms and conditions.

The terms and conditions of SBI's cashback offer on Amazon are:

1. All residents of India holding a valid current debit and credit card issued by SBI are eligible to avail the offer with an exception of RuPay debit cards.

2. The offer is valid only on these products: a) television, b) refrigerator, c) washing machine, d) air conditioner, e) microwave oven f) chimney, and g) dishwasher on Amazon.in worth Rs. 5,000 or above, on a per transaction basis.

3. Each cardholder can avail a maximum cashback of Rs. 1,750 per card account under this offer, irrespective of the number of purchases during the offer period.

4. This offer is also applicable on payment made by customers using the 'Cash on Delivery' payment option provided that the cardholder, at the time of delivery of the order, makes the payment via a card accepting machine carried by the delivery associate, using the card. 

5. All SBI Debit Cardholders (excluding SBI RuPay debit cards) are covered under this Program. These Offers are not applicable to transactions made through SBI Internet Banking.

6. Amazon reserves the right, at any time, without prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever, to add/alter/modify/change or vary any or all of these offer terms or to replace, wholly or in part, this Offer by another offer, whether similar to this Offer or not.

7. The relevant amount of cashback will be credited to cardholder's account by July 10, 2018.
