A new 2017 edition of Gurkha which now comes with BS-IV emission norms have been launched by Force motors. The car is available three and five-door body styles and two variants- Xplorer and Xpedition.
The Gurkha comes with minor styling changes to the exterior along with a host of new mechanicals. The car now comes with the new front and rear bumpers and a new grille up front. The SUV also bears all-terrain tyres as standard.

However, the overall design, though, remains familiar to the previous model.
As far as interior of the car is concerned, now the cabin of the car includes a new steering wheel design, new gear lever and new air-condition controls on the console.

The Xplorer is available in both three- and five-door body styles while the Xpedition is available only as a five-door.
As per Force, the 2017 Gurkha is based on a new ladder-frame chassis, along with a new suspension setup.
In addition, the SUV gets new independent struts with gas-charged shock absorber and an anti-roll bar. If we talk about the changes at rear end of the car, then the car comes with a new multi-link setup that also features gas-charged hydraulic shock and an anti-roll bar.
The new car is powered with a 2.6 litre diesel engine with the unit now BS-IV compatible, which also comes with a new five-speed manual gearbox sending power to either the rear or all-four wheels.
The Gurkha Xpedition is expected to price at Rs 8.38 lakh while the Xplorer is priced at Rs 9.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
