According to a new report, every organisation in the country will have a digital appearance on the internet by the year 2030.
Managing Director of India enterprises, Dell EMC, Rajesh Janey has said, “By 2030, every organisation will be a digital organisation and businesses need to start thinking now about how to become future-proof in their infrastructure and India is not an exception.”
Dell Technologies has published a report forecasting that emerging technologies, supported by massive advancements in software, big data and processing power, will reshape lives.
Janey charting out three things which will happen by 2030 saying, “Individuals and organisations will become digital conductors; work will chase people, and we will get into in-the-moment learning."
The Dell report, titled 'The Next Era of Human-Machine Partnerships', offers insights into how consumers and businesses can prepare for a society in a flux.
Janey said, “Digital disruption and the acceleration of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented reality, virtual reality, robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing will shape our reality and the future of business for our customers.”
Although he added that disruption is inevitable and organisations have to evolve to remain relevant. Suggesting a blend of technology in life, he said that by 2030 technology will become an integral part of our lives. "Our capabilities will be enhanced by machines."
The research, led by the Institute for the Future (IFTF) alongside 20 technology, academic and business experts from across the globe, looks at how emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, augmented reality and cloud computing, will transform our lives and how we work over the next decade. Dell Technologies commissioned the study to help companies navigate an uncertain world and prepare for the future.
