RIL Remains India’s Largest Firm With $127 Billion Market Cap; This Holi Top Gainers On Your Radar

Oil-to-telecom major Reliance Industries retained its tag of 'largest listed firm' in India as the company hit $127 billion in market cap on March 20 intraday trade amid strong market condition.

The stock was quoting at Rs 1,383.90, up Rs 8.65, or 0.63 percent on the BSE, at 10:32 hours IST.

The stock in the current calendar year (January-February-March) performed far better than the last whole year. It has surged 24 percent, so far, in 2019 against 22 in 2018.

Whereas, the Share price of Vodafone Idea tumbled  7 percent intraday on March 20 after the company board approved rights issue of Rs 25,000 crore.

The board in its meeting held on March 20 approved to issue equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 at Rs 12.50 per equity share as rights issue aggregating up to Rs 25,000 crore, as per company release on BSE.

The board also fixed April 2 as the record date for the purpose of determining the shareholders who will be eligible to apply for the issue.
