Mercedes Benz Set To Launch It's Pick Up Truck. Watch

Mercedes-Benz is going to launch the X class segment which is set to introduce its first pickup truck of the company.

The German carmaker earlier revealed the X-Class pickup truck Concept in 2016 and now the manufacturer has released a teaser video just before its global unveils on 18th July. The concept was showcased in two variants in 2016 the Powerful Adventurer and the Stylish Explorer.

Mercedes-Benz X-Class pickup truck is made on the same platform that underpins Nissan Navara as well as the Renault Alaskan.

Mercedes-Benz will officially unveil the production X-Class pickup truck on July 18.

It is expected to get a set of four- cylinder, six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines. Along with the engines, the pickup truck will get a rear-wheel-drive system for the lower versions while the top-end may come with the company's 4MATIC all-wheel- drive system as standard.

The X-Class pick up truck will get LED tail lamp, an infotainment system, circular AC vents with automatic climate control. It will also get a number of safety and driver assistance systems including radar as well as ultrasound sensor based technologies. The company claims that the X-Class has a load carrying capacity of 1,110 kg and 3,500 kg depending on the variant on offer.
