Hyundai Showcases All New Verna 2017, Know It's Price And Launch Date Here

Hyundai Motors has unveiled its much anticipated, Verna 2017 in India slated to launch on August 22. Hyundai India has already started the pre bookings for the new vehicle.

According to reports, the company has worked hard on their new segment to make sure this model makes splashes in the market. The vehicle already has a huge representation on the roads with 3.17 lakh units on road in India alone.

Managing Director of the Seoul based company Hyundai, Mr. Y K Koo, during the showcase said, " We are proud to announce the unveiling of the most awaited and aspiration Next Gen Verna for Indian market. The 5th generation Next Gen Verna is a true expression of a Superior Sedan crafted with perfection and excellence in Engineering."

With the vehicle competing the likes of Honda City and Maruti Suzuki's Ciaz, Hyundai has placed their new vehicle in the Rs 8-13 lakh segment.

As per the vehicle features, the new 5th generation Verna is built on 'Advance High Strength Steel' (AHSS). The sedan's body also has a hot stamping applications providing superior performance and rigidity to the vehicle. The new body structure provides a better vehicle control and enhanced fuel efficiency along with performance.

As for the vehicle's power, the new Verna has two power-packed 1.6 litre Dual VTVT petrol and 1.6 litres U2 CRDi VGT diesel engine options that can churn out that churns out 123 Ps and 128 Ps of power respectively. The engines has advanced 6 Speed Manual and 6 Speed Automatic Transmissions that will provide superior low and high-speed performance to suite city & highway driving topped with better fuel efficiency.

The next-gen sedan will also have projector headlamps and LED DRLs along with chrome accented grille and LED tail lamps similar to its older sibling Elantra.

The cabin is also upgraded with a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, USB, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto support. The interior features a two-tone dashboard with chocolate brown coloured top dash and a beige lower half.

The vehicle also comes with a sunroof and curtains for rear passengers along with cruise control, rear AC vents, ventilated seats, and 6-airbags as per safety measures.
