Hyundai has launched its Creta facelift 'ix25' in the Chinese market for the first time. The vehicle made its debut at the Chengdu International Auto Show.
As the name suggests, the new model has gone through a revamp for its launch in China. While major changes have been made on the outside, the cabin has not been left out of the face lift.
As far as the body goes, the carmakers have redesigned the entire bumper from back to front with an addition of a new grille, which has chrome boundaries along with headlamps, LED DRLs and fog lamps on the lower bumper.
The exhaust and tail-lamp have also seen a facelift with dual pipes and new graphic.
On the inside, the cabin goes along with an all new black colour theme, however, there are red stitchings around the AC and seats which are is also expected in the upcoming Creta facelift in India.
The all new ix25 has a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine which can produce a maximum power of 128 bhp and top torque of 211 Nm while the 1.6-litre petrol engine has not seen any changes.
Creta is one of Hyundai's most famous models in India. The model recently crossed the magic number of 2 lakh vehicles in the country in 2015.
Hyundai Creta comes in three engine options — 1.6-litre CRDi VGT diesel engine that produces 126bhp of power along with a 6-speed manual, a 1.4-litre CRDi diesel delivering that produces 89bhp of power and a petrol variant that only comes in 1.6-litre Dual VTVT engine that produces 121bhp of power in a 6-speed manual as well.
